We finished last week @ 7pm PST.
Nurfed is running a Heroic Dragon Soul GDKP at the time listed above. We expect to do at least 4 heroics, up to 6. The amount we do will depend on the quality of the raid group. This run is one night only per week. The raid lockout will never be extended. Each raid will be attended by approximately 10-15 i-lvl 400+ Nurfed members who have 8/8 Heroic DS experience.

Read all of the rules before signing up. Bothering our members with rules questions that are spelled out here is a good way to get rejected. Reply to this thread if something is unclear! I will edit this post routinely, so please check back for updates.

Rules
Our raid starts promptly at 5pm PST. Buyers must be on time or they will be replaced with standbys. If you are late, any deposit paid will be forfeited, no exceptions. Don’t be late!
Do not be a burden. If you AFK frequently, pull bosses early, or sabotage us (either intentionally or unintentionally), your share of the pot will be forfeit and/or you will be removed. For the record, accidentally causing a wipe on a boss is not "sabotaging." Consistently blowing up the raid on Zon'ozz because you cannot be bothered to move 5 feet and avoid the giant ball coming at your face is sabotaging. Therefore, whether you are considered a burden is highly subjective and determined solely at our discretion. Deal with it.

Any non-Nurfed player who participates in our GDKP run is expected to purchase gear. If you do not, your earnings may be forfeit. We realize there is a chance that no usable gear for your character will drop, in which case this rule is obviously inapplicable. Bottom line: We are not carrying you through for any achievements – this is a gold for gear run! Get your achievements elsewhere.

Loot Rules
Below is a list of the starting bids for all items. Highest bidder wins, plain and simple.

Note: These numbers are subject to change at my discretion.

Starting bids:
397 Weapons & Trinkets: 7,500g
397 Tier token: 10,000g
All other 397 items: 2,500g

403 Weapons & Trinkets: 15,000g
All other 403 items: 5,000g

410 Weapons & Trinkets: 15,000g
410 Tier token: 25,000g
All other 410 items: 7,500g

416 Weapons & Trinkets: 40,000g
All other 416 items: 25,000g

Essence of Destruction: 200g
BoE Recipe: 1,000g

Mounts: 100,000g

Elementium Gem Cluster: 100,000g for the entire run's worth. This averages out to 12.5k per boss, pre-split. With a 20k split (average), you'd be out 80k, or 10k/boss.

Bidding on an item without the gold to pay for it is a good way to get kicked from the raid. Do not do it! Once a bid is placed, other participants will have 10 seconds to bid higher. We want this run to go quickly so we will not wait forever for your bid. Should somebody disconnect while bidding is happening, the raid leader reserves the right to pause bidding while a player reconnects. Should you win the item, gold must be paid to the raid leader prior to it being looted to you. The raid leader will be announced at the start of every raid. Most nights, it will be Biffins.

Finally, do not nickel and dime each other. If I bid 50,000g on a big ticket item (Cunning), I fully expect each bid to follow to go at least 10,000g higher until it’s sold. You might consider this a soft guild-application with no intention to raid. Allow me to explain. I am a behavior and cognition researcher with the University of Washington in Washington-state, and a WoW veteran. My department has recently begun studying internet behavior with particular respect to gamers. But in order to show any progress, we need to gather an astonishing amount of a particular quality of data that I expect can only be found on the largest of WoW servers. So with the launch of Mists of Pandaria, I will be running a mass data-collection project, focusing mainly on PuGs and Random Battlegrounds/Dungeons/Raids, to create a bank of player-behavior information.

What does this have to do with Nurfed?

My proposition for you is somewhat two-fold. As much of my collection will focus on the organizationally-limited groups that form semi-organically from the Dungeon Finder and Trade chat, I would value the opportunity to see how a tight-knit and organized team like Nurfed compares. Second, as I will be spending much of the week in the sometimes frustrating and turbulent PuG environment, I would love the opportunity to become a member of an established and settled community of knowledgeable players. (Save me from the PuGers!)

I would be transferring my Druid (who I am admittedly not incredibly skilled with, but do require the ability to DPS, Tank and Heal in one character for a sufficiently wide range of results) to Tichondrius in the near future and will be spending the rest of the expansion preparing for data-collection in Mists of Pandaria.

Nurfed is selling the Smoldering Egg of Millagazor (http://www.wowhead.com/item=69224) that is a 100% chance drop from Heroic Ragnaros. You also will get the title "Firelord" for defeating H Ragnaros. When Mists of Pandaria comes out, this mount will likely be a 1% drop-chance. Price: 200k or best offer. Bid increments 10k. Current best offer for dates above: 160k.

200k is effectively the buyout price, if that bid is placed, the mount is yours at your selected date. Bidding for each week ends on Monday night. All buyers and backups will be notified of their status by then.

The winning bidder's 50% deposit is due to Biffins by Tuesday, 5pm PST - In person, not mailed Once we are at Rag on raid night and summon you in, the other 50% is due. Failure to pay either the deposit or final 50% will result in loss of spot & deposit. I will move on to backups.

If you cannot beat the highest offer in a given week, feel free to message me in-game with an offer of 100k or more. I will take down your contact information and the character you want the mount/title on, and you will be a backup in the event a buyer is a no-show.

Our raid starts promptly at 6pm PST. Buyer must be on and contact Biffins before 6pm PST or I will move on to a backup buyer. We will be at Ragnaros right around 7pm PST. You will have your mount by 7:30pm PST.

No other loot in this run is for sale. This is a mount selling run only.
