Basically, earlier today I downloaded Onyx's Layout.lua and started playing around with it to make it more to my liking. While doing this I downloaded the new Nurfed Alpha and installed (deleted old stuff/re-extracted the folders) and continued to mess around, reloading the ui constantly to see new changes. At one point I closed WoW and reopened it and when I got back in, the new default layout was there and I can't manage to get Onyx's layout to show up, even if I use the original one he made without any of my own modifications.

I am getting one error, something about Nurfed_UnitFrames\Layout.lua:17 missing expected '='. So I went through to see if maybe I had just fudged something up, added an extra { or random letter somewhere, but I can't find anything wrong.

I am pretty sure it's something having to do with the interaction between the old Layout.lua and the new Default.lua from the most recent Alpha, but I've no idea what to do about it and no one else has posted anything of the sort.

Update: I just went through and added everything missing from Layout.lua that the new Default.lua had. Still no luck, though I am not getting that error anymore. I am guessing then that it has something to do with Layout.lua's interaction with everything else. Basically, anyone have any clue why Nurfed would be ignoring Layout.lua and just using Default.lua?

Edit: In case anyone asks, yes, Default.lua and Layout.lua are both in the .toc.

Update #2: Figured it out. I guess you need to remove Default.lua from the Nurfed_UnitFrames.toc if you have Layout.lua, otherwise it defaults to.. well.. Default.lua. ;)

Sadly, no. I am beginning to think I need to read the book(s?) though since so many people ask!
