Horde Mage: Undead or Troll?

Which would you recommend and why, with things as they are (i.e. not accounting for any racial trait changes or Paladin talents)?

Since we aren't accounting for racial traits, it's mostly for cosmetic reasons for me. Undead are delightfully evil, but I prefer the Jamaican accent and fleshy body of a Troll. I also liked starting off on the "Horde" contient, and found it a bit easier levelling a Troll than I did an Undead because I was attacked less while levelling.

I don't think it'll matter much in the end. Sure, racial talents may have some appeal...but a character has to be fun in all aspects to play. Look, feel, roleplay, gameplay...whatever floats your boat. Try to make a character you think you'll enjoy and if you don't like it after a while, it's fine and dandy to make another.

Seems like I'm the only person that wants to play a Troll Mage. :twisted: Just means more meat for me.

Troll regen just may be strong enough to keep trolls alive in the longer fights.

Troll regen would seem to be of limited usefulness to mages, as we usually don't get hit...

Now if troll regen worked for mana, <3 <3 <3

If the undead keep fear immunity they would make better Arcane Explosion mages.

Trolls are more sexy tho + regen works in PvE too.

Yea, I never understood all the troll hate i see. ppl are like 'theyre ugly and skinny and gross' but i think they look pretty cool myself. plus who else has a limeric of when they kill dwarves and cannibalism? thats badass
