There is plenty in frost that isnt that great for pve, there is also plenty of utility in fire for pve.

I'd also like some input on current builds. I think it's pretty set that heavy frost is a must, but i'm debating on whether to go secondary in arcane or fire.

Currently i'm specc'ed 30 into frost, and am wondering whether to go imp cs and POM, or fire to blastwave. With imp cs and pom you gain utility vs casters and single targets, but to go blastwave would mean more group utility and overall damage. If i do go blastwave i'll go 27 frost, 24 fire to get the extra crit for my scorch and fireblast. THe only problem being no improved counterspell, which i still believe is one of the most important skills to have.

Any ideas?

Here (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/mages/talents.html?2300050000000000505200012003000005350 003102301000) is my current build. I dont see why heavy frost is a must for raiding, I'm willing to bet Kel'thuzad and Sapphiron will have high frost resist, Ahn'Quraj has no heavy fire resist or fire immune mobs.

Why pyroblast, it doesnt hit much harder than fireball and its a 6 second cast, if anything atleast pick up blastwave if you get pyro lawl
