The future for the warrior

I am assuming they will fix the warrior by the time they release the PvP honor system and battlegrounds, and i think they will probably be one of the best classes for it. so my question is, currently i play an orc warrior, and i am enjoying it. However i wanted everyones opinion on what race has the best racial traits for the warrior. I dont care whether it is alliance or horde, but i the only contender imo is the gnome(and i dontthink they should be warriors at all).
so i guess i will start a poll.

I chose Orc b/c of their 15%chance to resist stun, 25% increased Str ability, and axe mastery(i like axes =)

Horde side, it's probably a playstyle choice between a Troll (melee speed boost) or Undead (immunity to fear) and on Alliance side, Gnome (escape artist) or Night Elf (Shadowmeld).

yea i thought about troll, but the thing is..... it only works at 20%, and it has a 1 sec cast time. and also by the time you are at 20% that opens up other warriors the chance to execute you giveing you even less a chance.

why do people hate tauren so much? i keep hearing people say "i almoast when tauren, then i slaped myself and came to my senses".

WHY? whats so bad about them? their 2 sec stun is pretty nice, and a health boost never hurts, so whats the beef? no pun intended.

Mostly because other choices are UD and Orc. On alliance Tauren would be great choice, assuming you dont want to suffer playing a gnome.

I went with Tauren due to the Health boost and the War Stomp... Undead is probably the best choice because they can be immune to Fear, which is something that kills me everytime I duel a Priest. If I could go back and choose a new race, I would probably be Undead, but I like my Tauren.

Imho there really should be more advantages for Tauren/Orc (especially if u consider the situation as it is now) Warriors since they are simply "logicaly" the race fitting best into the style of warrior. ... Or com'n lets all be honest there isnt much cooler then a HUGE TAUREN slamming a skull with an even BIGGER AXE into an opponents body and unleashing his pure muscle power .... :o

Orc stun resist is actually 25%, a very nice number. The orc racial is completely useless, as it only calculates off of your base strength, so you'll never get more than 35sh str from it; not worth 30% of your life in the middle of a fight. The +5 skill equates to a hidden 1.8-2.0% crit chance and a lot of other bonuses. I rarely see all the missing people complain about with their warriors.

dont forget it doesnt only make you immune to fear but to charm and sleep effects too so thats even a bigger plus ;)

I'd choose Orc, but only because from the Horde, they are my favourite race. I can't understand one thing though - as warriors, you all get great skills to counter the fear friendly classes such as Priests and Warlocks. With my template I can bring up to 1 minute (approx) fear immunity. And if I use Recklessness - ~30 seconds more.

But even without Fury talents one can use these great skills - switch for 2 seconds to Zerker stance, trigger your Berserker Rage and switch back.

zerker rage stops it effect if you switch stance. And you need to swith stances alot if you duel caster like priest and warlock.

ok so i guess my question is this..... with the new changes to fear, and the ammple ways to break it for a warrior, is UD skill even worth it? I would LOVE Sintor's opinion on this (he needs more love, all we ever see is <3 Indal). I still think orc is probably a better choice. 25% stun resist sounds GREAT. I would also like to hear sintor's experiances with it, and whether or not he noticed it. believe it or not Sintor was one of the first to hit lvl 60 on archimonde. give him a little more love.

I voted UD, Will is just to good. Not only gives immunity to fear but even better it breaks fear (and charms and whatnot). Plus their shadow resistance is'nt exactly shabby either.

However, my alt warrior will definatly be a taruen. They're just to cool loking. The stomp can be a good instant stun from time to time. Don't think the increased health will do much tough..oh, by the way, my tauren will be going alchemist/herbalist. :lol:

The Orc Stun resist isn't all that hard to test. Find you a Tuaren with War Stomp (or another class that has a stun with a shorter cool down), start a duel, let them attempt to stun you, mark results of stun attempt, end the duel, wait for timer to reset, rinse repeat maybe 10+ times. Then just see if your resists are closer to 25% or 12.5%.
