try editing the party pet positions so they dont end up over/under-lapping other stuff :)

Your chat boxes are pretty crammed in there. How to you read stuff if it's scrolling by fast?

I generally use vent when im playing - the combat log is no problem, but you're right, the trade channel is a bit difficult to keep up with. However, I was really trying to minimize everything I could, basically, if I don't use it, it's not on the interface.
I.E. my minimap is minimized at the top of the screen b/c I rarely if ever use it.

question : are you using discord art to add the black background behind chatframes/bars/etc ?

Nope, those are just text boxes with black backround that I took all the channels out of. I wanted some uniformity in the backround, but didnt want to mess with discord - so its and easy, and pretty good looking, solution.

I'm waiting for when hide party frames option is available, b/c then I can put the raid frames down where the party frames are now.
My only complaint is when I'm not in a party I have a lot of empty space down there, so sometimes I just remove the black backround and it looks like this: http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/7261/blank4yz.jpg
