Hello, I've been visiting your website for a long time, looking at all of the screen shots and the videos and I've noticed that most of you only group with people in your guild. I'm not in the World of Warcraft Beta but I plan on buying it when it's released. Anyways, how do you go about recieving an invitation if you can never group with any of the members? Thank you in advance.

Usually we only play with guild members, we will on occasion mix another person in with us on raids for a little while and if we feel comfortable with that person we will extend an invite. I will be honest, it's not easy to get into Nurfed, but at the same time because of our strict recruiting policy we rarely have any guild "drama" and a low turnaround rate on members.

What'ya mean no drama, you invited me didn't you?! I think I need the Nurfed 'drama queen' title. /jk

But to the original poster and others reading the guild invitation policy, I will tell you it's extremely difficult but not impossible to get into guild groups as I'm living proof it can be done. It helped that I already knew a couple Nurfed members prior to WoW from Shadowbane, and then through grouping with these old friends I met some guys who were my level (Merleo and Doji) and they invited me to some of their groups (being priest helped too). It did take over two months of solid beta playing with them and proving my skill before Indalamar and the officers would evaluate me for sponsorship. So I went through the same lengthy process anyone else would. I believe this is completely valid and necessary to Nurfed's integrity and team skill, I agree with their policy.

Now that raid groups are more common, there are sometimes spots available for an instance raid, but I would recommend the best way to spend some time with the team is to go on PvP runs with members.

Last night we showed up late for the party and took over Southshore for a good solid hour or two and had a decent sized raid group going. We later commented (within the guild) on the skill many of the players demonstrated in that raid... Following directions, maneuvering into position, and group cohesion between 4 almost full groups was excellent. We had priests in each group shielding several mages so we could AE the Southshore guards while the rest concentrated on steadily pushing the alliance further and further towards the docks and cutting them off from both sides, with water-walking horde on the other end. Thanks Scorch and Fuleng for helping run that well done mini-event.

Be active in the community we are involved with, let us get to know you whenever you get a character to our levels, and invite or ask to be invited if you see PvP going on where we are. Not so many are doing instances right now as most are waiting for news and patch/changes before playing heavily again.

I've been very happy since joining these guys, ALL of them are quality players. It's very difficult to run with Nurfed, but not impossible.

My grinding continues... lvl 34. But I slacked off today. Still just trying to burn through the lvls as quickly as possible so I can pay Doji and Envie back for being so helpful.

I've been running with Klay constantly for the past half a month to a month, and I try to raid with Nurfed whenever possible. Plus I look to Envie and Tiv for advice.

It's been hella fun, and whatever happens, i've had a great time with them. They're a great group of players and it's just so much fun to play with em.

It was hard. He's a tough one to keep up with. Always on the move.

Thankfully I had a mount too.

I slipped up a few times :(

Thanks for all of the replies. I plan on being either Undead or Troll Priest, depending on how the racial abilities turn out.

I hope tolls get accelerated regen and can use it in combat.....not something stupid like plains running. Taurens should get totem weapons and be able to use 2 handers with one hand, thatd be cool.

just realized this has nothing to do with the above posts....oh well, just me rambling i guess
