Yeah I was able to edit the layout.lua file really easily, got rid of the targettargettarget box and moved the other mini, made the frames a little bigger and more readable, added the outline to the fonts, centered the combo point counter horizontally and vertically over the target portrait and made it larger. The only thing I can't do is link the party frames and fix the fact that the status bars animate when you switch targets (which makes cycling targets quickly not work well at all.)

just updated some addons and got another 300 kb off (31/05/2006 3:30 pm EST) so you might wanna redownload (bongos/minigroup2).

a small warning : some of the addons have been modified by me, so in the future, when you will update they might not have the same functionality as before :) i will try to keep this updated, but i can not make any promises or offer any support for the mods there.

I'm also quite interested in knowing which modded version of the gypsy buffbar that you're using. At first I thought it was gypsy buffbar reborn (on ui.worldofwar.net), and its close, but doesnt have the same texture that the one on your UI screenshot has.

If you could maybe attach your modded version of that particular mod, I could try it out!

they are just a really old version of gypsybuff bar, from November 2004 and it really doesn't do nearly as much as the new versions do, so if anyone wants to pick up development or get someone they know to work on it that would be great.

the mod doesn't quite work for me though, the bars don't decrease for long term buffs, not sure what the problem is. When i reload the UI after casting the buff it works fine, but it doesn't do anything initially.

edit: ok it works for buffs other than self buffs, that's wierd

I like to keep it simple, clean and as effecient as possible.

As you can see, I've modified the unit frames quite a bit: Font changes, texture changes, and I changed how the debuffs show...

They appear on the target in the following order:

i decided to try out the unit frames / raid frames from the latest nurfed alpha. providing us with a layout file to change it to our liking is nice, but there are ton of options missing in there and you have to edit other lua files for some options, so it still needs work.

the maintank frames are ora maintankframes using perfectraid style, and yea the buff frames are an old gypsybuffbar, i posted a download to them on the previous page.

I would like to get the names on top of the HP bars, I love how minigroup-2 has this, as well as the feedback part, but those don't seem to work so well here. when i get a chance i'm gonna work on the party frames. though it does get annoying having to redo everything with each update.

Incanus, is your problem with the names on top of the HP bars and the feedback that they are under the hp bar texture instead of on top?

I don't know much about lua coding for this, but both those elements are on the same layer (OVERLAY) as the bar and the hp/mp text is always seen over the bars but the feedback and name are not (they're hidden behind the bars from what I've seen). Possibly changing the order of creation or layers? I haven't tried myself, just a suggestion

edit : for all those that want a hud until tivole releases the new one, you can use this :

edit2 : the hud has only player hp / mp support, no target / pet support but at least for me it`s ok for now.

phoenx: yea the problem is that they show up underneath the hp bar, i've gotten $nam to show up on top, the problem though is that it isn't registering that variable so the actual name doesn't show up.

yea i've seen ct colored buffs and i like the look, but i'd really rather not have to download ct core or whatever its dependencies are... not good for memory

You need to do some stuff with Grouping for shared cooldowns. ie: If you don't tell it that Shield Wall, Retalliation, and Recklessness are part of the same group, you'll get 3 bars showing up.

Right, I've looked into it a bit, but it's gonna take a while I'm afraid.

CT_Mastermod supplies a few functions for the raid frame which i can't leave out (such as the movable frame function), so I'm gonna have to rip those out properly :p

Updated it a bit, switched to DUF instead of the Nurfed Unitframes, redid the layout etc. I like the clean look it has atm. Prolly won't last for long though ;p.

if a hunter needs to put everything we need in pvp and/or raids on bars, we can easily fill 4 bars, that's 48 buttons kthx :P

there is an interface option that lets you change how far you can zoom, it's part of the default bliz ui.

It's called swinger, it lets you know when your next auto-attack is going to hit.

Is there a newer version out? Cause I've had mine for ages, but some
patches back the bar stoped working and I had to start using the
"box".

Slug, how can I move the Targets Target above my Target, like your Screenshot? Mine are on the right side. And I can´t find any option in Unit-Frames Menu to switch.

(cat form, one of the buttons is blank because it later will be a group and flexbar doesn't allow groupings of one button(needed a group so i wouldn't have to change flexbar's code later))

most people tell me my bars are annoying right there but i like them like that <3, flexbar allows you to put them anywhere though in case you don't like them there...just be aware it might take u a long time to get right ;)
