How do I reset an instance?

I've been having some issues. Here is what I have been doing (according to instructions someone posted):

1. Enter solo
2. Invite someone while inside
3. Leave after I am done while grouped still
4. Disband outside
5. Renter solo and repeat from step 2

Problem is, when I try to re-enter, I get the loading bar but it never fills and I do not zone in, after about 30 seconds it kicks me back out, outside the portal still and I cannot enter the instance.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

that problem your describing happens when theres something wrong with the instance servers i think

It's happened several times to me, so unless I'm causing the problem...
