Hunter Pets??

well... currently my hunter is only level 14 so I dont expect to have awesome skills yet... but i usually plan my characters in advance, and I was wondering if pets ever get skills other than growl??? currently my boar and my plainstriders dont have any other skills and my boar has 50 training points... so i figured they would have skills... am i wrong??? can a level 30+ hunter give me some insight on this???

I hope all hunter pets arent the same... it seems everyone has the same exact one so i figure there are skills that come with em :D
