Warlocks + Shadow Dmg

I know spells like Corruption and life drains are Affliction Damage but are they also considered Shadow Damage?

Like Tailors can make +Shadow Damage items and I was not sure they would affect my spells.

drain life is, im not sure about corruption but i dont think so

according to the combat log, corruption is shadow damage

it says <Mob name> suffers xx damage from your Corruption.

Not like these items add a lot... For me, they add ~+20% to damage on DoT and Mind Flay, i don't know how they improve Mind Blast damage (see profile below for current items). Well, at least they improve damage/mana efficiency in PvE and improve DPS. Other than in PvE, they are worthless even for a Warlock IMHO.
