Why even play a rogue? [Archive]

After looking over the Druid's skills, when they are in cat form, they are basically rogues, plus more. I was grouping up with a Druid last night, who was prowling around, ambushing everything. Just seemed like she was doing everything I could do, plus she could heal very well. What is it that a Rogue can do that a Druid can't?

Just doesn't make much sense to play a Rogue right now.

Because the fun/toys available to Rogues far outweigh the "flexibility" offered to Druids. At least in the Rogue-ish arena.

Let's see...

At level 32 I dueled a level 35 druid in cat form. The Druid was dead before she could change forms and get a heal off, and I had 2/3 of my life left.

It's all about the DPS. They may have the tools, but they don't have the raw damage output.

If someone is in cat form when they attack me, I honestly let them have a few hits first, before I even hit attack.

i think everyone is missing the biggest advantage of playing a rogue.

/stealth , /poke .

still amuses me, the fact that simply poking someone. u can imagine them /who'ing u and then when they dont see you on their faction, fighting paranoid for the next 5 minutes.

simple things.
