Hey guys, I rerolled to another server about 3 weeks ago. There's a few people who are claiming it takes no skill to play a priest in pvp and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find that vhell pvp video? Thanks.

well put, kiting people with a priest isn't easy with all of the anti-fear trinkets, you just have to hope you can heal yourself (renew, flash heal, shield) faster than they can dps you.

I mean I dont think I saw one single thing happen to him but I coudlnt see his buff/debuffs. How come they dont even bother attacking you? Maybe I dont understand.

I'd reckon Vhell is harder to kill than most plate users :P Atleast for those 20sec of shield wall!

Due to the way our group plays most people ignore vhell cuz hes not the threat, they usually go for our mage first since he can instantly kill pretty much anyone he wants. A lot of people who've watched this video think we somehow dont know how to fight when in reality it's my opinion I think our server is just more evolved then some. This is how our fights pan out when people do what you guys are suggesting AKA focus the priest... They do focus down our priest and he dies, we still have 3 DPS and 1 very good healer aka shaman, now we focus down your warrior or mage and you lost almost all your DPS and you still have yoru healers. We still have 2 CC classes and shitloads of DPS, while you're sitting there piddling away at one of our 4 very durable players with the one DPS class, we're CCing your 2 healers and still DPSing the fuck out of the rest of your group....

The video starts about 3-4 fights into the night, we had already fought a few groups and they tried to focus down our priest or shaman ignoring myself and savor and the fight lasted about 15-20 seconds... The reason the Relentless guys were focusing me so much was the first 2 times we fought them they couldn't heal through our DPS with CoT on them so they were focusing me.

We fought their A group 4-5 times, 3 or 4 times we had a mirror match, and once they swapped out a rogue for their warlock, which was the fight i died in =( I fucked up pretty bad that fight tho i didn't use my deathcoil and i had a soulstone in my bag but it wasn't hotkeyed.

Earlier fights they went after me and found out what happens, read Nisstyr's reply again. Even if they spend time killing me, that means my dps is free to kill their dps or healers.

Hardly call it severly owned. It was a pretty close battle. I dont know if the AF's groups warlock was able well enough though. My guess is kill Savor first because mages make Warlocks curses impossible. Then he could mess with Vhell?

It takes a lot less effort to disable a Priest than to kill him. That's why polying a horde priest is so effective, cause they get one trinket free pass and then they're fucked. If you're alliance there's always a paladin around to spam cleanse.

the highest non-staged pvp crit i've seen was 4.4k (emphasis on non-staged, i've seen 7k+ frostbolts but staged to fuck and back)

not that im saying mages dont do much dmg, but a mage you can outheal (as opposed to a warrior)
when i meet solo mages i heal till they get bored and run away :p

but well, scorch put it down fairly simple.
hard to argue that point

Its more the fact that we run a Mage, Warrior AND Warlock.

4.4 is nothing. Savor has Timer POM Pyro crit me for 5.1k (my entire life bar). That doesnt include the Fireblast, or Ignite. And this is while wearing Netherwind, not full damage gear :P. Trust me, going after the priest first 100% of the time is so 6 months ago. Mages are now pretty much priority targets, followed by rogues fucking with your support and Xbow hunters.

What type of unit frame do you use Vhell.

I know you mention Beta Frames but I cant seem to find it. The 3D rendering looks cool just wanted to try it out.

I'd also like to know what kind of HUD that is since most of the ones I've tried out seem to have the HP of myself and my target on the left.

I DLed the Nurfed UI package and it didnt bring the 3D portrait rendering nor the HUD
