Hi. as i am gonna play a warlock i have some questions:

1. what would be a good pvp build? as a warlock i think that your affliction build must be strong and suits the class best. Maybe some other ideas?

2. What is the role of a warlock in pvp. Who to assist ( warrior) or finish one off with friendly mages?

3. Stamina gear is a must for warlocks. Someone can tell me where i find good drops?

1) Good PvP talent, Destruction tree looks good, with all the buffs to the Warlock's AoE attacks.

2)Role of a Warlock - Spam DoTs, CC, debuffs, use pets (pets are rarley targets in PvP) effectively. Great thing about PvP is a bunch of targets for Corruption (should get the talents to make it insta cast) which also makes Nightfall proc more (if you get it). Also, with the right Destruction build, your RoF and Hellfire also snare and stun.

3) Don't really have an answer for this one

Makes me want to almost roll another warlock...

there's two pvp builds going around here, Nisstyr's affliction build (available in the members section) and Rekuul's demonology build (somewhere in this forum). I must admit I don't understand how Rekuul's build is helpful outside of duels, Affliction/Destruction seems to be the way to go for group pvp (unlimited mana with pact, use it every few spells, have the succubus out and turn off her autocasts).

thnks for your advice. cant wait untill WoW hits Europe. I read the dem. build but dont think a warlock should rely so much on his pets other for mana source.

Personally i think affliction is the way to go. I think a warlock is ment to be that way. otherwise you could play a mage ( for pure damage).

thnks for your comments

RoF/Hellfire with pyroclasm + aftermath seems like a very effective and fun way of dealing with groups of targets, but will you still have enough mana with this build since it's lacking dark pact? :? I'm kind of torn between getting pyroclasm or dark pact. Pyroclasm will probably help you a great deal, but so will dark pact, so how am I supposed to make up my mind about this? :P

What do you think?
