Ok, our guild has done the Bat, Snake and Raptor with real ease (0 wipes)....but for the life of us we can't beat the spider.

Anyone got any tips? We've tried the double blessing of freedoms on the main tank, with a tank in the middle to protect everyone at range...and no melee. It took for freaking ever, but she shifted to her form and then started healing. Now I know you're supposed to dispel it, but how? We've had 3 people spamming cleanse/dispels on the group and nothing.

Any tips with formation, raid size, roles, etc would be nice. We're really having issues with it and I know we probably shouldn't (only 2 tries so far, 2 wipes each)

just have 2 tanks, when she's spider form 1 tank stands with all the casters and 1 tank is actually tanking him and just switch evrytime she does the net thing. drain her mana with warlocks / hunters. and kick / shieldbash when she heals.

thats basically it :)

Just use any spell interrupt skill on her. And at least try to spell the name of the instance correctly if you are going to ask for help.

If you wanna make her really easy make people drink anti-venom pots. =P we did that before we got the hang of how to do her.

nope it isnt...

we have three tanks, all with insignia, so she is hardly ever in the zerg...
u just need enough dps to get her down when she shifts into humanoid form for the first time, works pretty good for us...

why dont you have any melee on her?

i guess that is one big mistake
longer fights = more mistakes than can be made and more "unlucky" situations
oh an without melee you might not be able to spell interupt her fast enoguh

i'd suggest that you try it without mana drain, and if that doesn't work, do it with...

I tried the Nurfed_heal and haven't had much luck. The overheals weren't stopping (guess I could just use CTR for that) but the decursive for some strange reason wasn't catching everything.

Be sure to put a shaman in every group for pois cleanse...

Or keep ranged at max range, and cleanse the melee ASAP.

Make sure Rogues Stunlock the adds, prevents growth.

We keep 2 Wars in the zerg in case a taunt is resisted.

The way my guild does it is that we use 2 tanks.

We have the entire raid stand on the rock hill formation that is leads right by her path. The MT tanks her to the right of the rock hill, the OT stands directly infront of the hill formation in between the tanking spot and the rest of the raid. The OT needs to be far enough away so he doesnt get hit by the web. His only job is to taunt the boss and drag her back to the Main Tank.

Well, Horde may have it easier with a Shaman around dropping a poison cleanse totem. You kick/interrupt her when she is healing and have the OT tank any spawned spiders.

Works pretty well for us.

If you're alliance, have the Paladins maintain Blessing of Freedom on the MT, so he doesnt get webbed.
