Best Mage Duo

New friend is starting a mage.

Was wondering which class would compliment the mage best in PvP/PvE all around


I was thinking of maybe making a mage also and just both of us blowing shit up? Not sure how survivability would work tho.

Shaman/Paladin.

Mage and anything really.. duo mages or mage/warlock would be pretty nice though. Warlock has pretty good utility like curse snares/fears + coe/cos. You could deal some pretty deadly damage.

All in all, a geared mage, doesn't need a duo. Sup overpowered.

My fav duo hands down is Nisstyr(Warlock) and I.

As a hordie i'd go with a shammy with elem spec or maybe a warlock, the latter may even be more powerful but would in my opinion take a lot more teamplay to master. Both got imba-burst just like the mage, it's just a matter of cc vs snares imo. Since I tend to get raped more by warriors/rogues than any other class I lean more towards the shammy since I feel snares are more reliable than fear/seduce/poly (don't mention deathcoil please, it's not even funny).

Btw, the way it goes is charge->nova->sheep->macromania->wtfpwndwarrior, since intercept has a longer stun time even when used within 20 secs of charge, blink is best used when intercepted.

(ps. trinkets are boring and ruin the game, give more survivability please)
