I was just fooling around dueling with my lvl 20 warrior when a lvl 18 Priest challenged me. Naturally i was thinking "Good i should own this guy in 5 secs" I got OWNED. he still had 75%+ of his HP. Now why is this? warriors shouldnt be this bad..... especially vs casters.

You just need to even the odds. State that no mana can be used!

Make a macro to wear a shield and shield bash to interrupt his heals.

a rogue can own a priest

a rogue can own a mage

a rogue can totally own a warlock..

but GOD a warrior can't.

rogues can own warriors :)

I owned some 20 - 21 ppl during ob with my 18 rogue ;)

If a 60 warrior duels every other class @ lvl 60 10 times for example im 100% sure he will have negative stats versus every class.

who cares about 1on1!?

Warriors are still very usefull in groups and essential in every instance run.

If other classes own warriors in duels, play this class(es), so you can beat every Warrior 1on1.
Nevertheless, would be cool if Blizzard make some changes e.g. what Indalamar explained in his Warrior Article.

Warriors aren't neccesity in instance groups. I'm 100% positive that a properly speced and geared shaman would be able to tank better and hold agro better then a warrior. Hopefully bliz will do something soon because I'm getting really frustrated trying to hold agro in instances.

yea sham with the Invulnerable Mail and many +def items :)
Blizz needs the balance stuff immediately.
And btw i care about 1on1 ! Warrior needs PvP balance

Indal awhile back you said you had a mometary enlightenment that allance was better. What race/class were you thinking of playing before you realized your guild was happyer with horde?

I can say up to level 20, I, a shaman, can out armor/dps/agro a warrior hands down (unless he uses a shield like me, then he can beat me in armor). Thats why I'm fearing a shaman nurf, not to bring the warrior back up, but to drag us shaman down.

Yea i hate the " Nerf Sham/pally" lamer. They should buff the other classes. Beeing a shaman doesnt mean that im invulnerable and i kill all kind of mobs in 1 sec.

I've Never had a problem with my warrior. At lvl 16 my warrior killed a 23 hunter. At lvl 16 i killed a lvl 18 mage. A lvl 18 rogue. A lvl 18 shaman. A level 20 shaman. A lvl 18 warrior. A lvl 16 Druid. A lvl 17 warlock. The list goes on and on. However i admit i've yet to defeat a priest that exceeds my level.

A nice thread about the Warrior at the blizz wow forum:
http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.aspx?FN=wow-warrior&T=12919&P=1

Gives some nice information, nothing completly new, but a great overview what you have to think about, if you are playing a Warrior. I enjoyed reading. The guy also posts his talent build, most talents are in the def. tree, it is a bit diffrent from MS builds, but seems to be very effectiv.
