Do you think the hero class Demon hunter will be a NE warrior or NE Hunter? there are few NE warriors right now, so that could be a good thing for the horde, wherein there are alot of Orc Warriors (blademasters). anyway, the skills of the hunter just dont make sense for them to switch over to DH. any thoughts?

i think when hero classes hit us its gonna be a stream of people screaming nerf this and that and another million crying about why the picked this class and how they cant be that hero becuse of it and etc, all hell will break loose

hero classes are what jedi was to SWG

what about if they did the same kind of thing as SWG except the hero classes are just like the other classes except you need to unlock them, by reaching lvl 60 and maybe a designated quest for each hero class. Then your character will get mind wiped or something by the NPC and wake up as a lvl 1 hero class. maybe starting all over again with new abilities and skills and such. this was an off the top of my head idead, what you think?

Eh, if they go by game lore, neither the warrior or the hunter would be able to become a demon hunter. Illidan was a sorcerer I think?

Yes, I beleive your right. According to lore, Illidan was addicted to magic with the first Well of Eternity, so I guess he would either be a mage or some sort of mage/rogue combo.

Then again, they're not real big on sticking to every peice of lore. Dwarves should have been mages, no orc on Thrall's side should be a Warlock, and the Forsaken proably shouldn't have abominations since they are not Necromancers. But, Blizzard has been known to bend lore before...

so if you wanted to be a DH for endgame what would you chose>? NE has no mage. (this is for my friend by the way).

err,..

no one knows anything about the hero classes.. so don't say it'll be like in that silly swg... -_-

if you ask me it COULD be like this:

any class hits lvl 60 => go do quest&become hero. instead of being lvl 61 mage you'll be lvl 61 archmage for example.

yer, this is the ideal i had as well, maybe getting a 10% bonus to stats or something at the start, ok maybe only 2 or 3 extra of each but it gives u that slight advantage over everyone else :] used to be an in browser game called Hostile space where you could tier - go back to lvl 1, keeping inherent stat points. on each /tier u got bonus regen etc. it took about 2 months to tier, quite a slog sometimes.

It is a good idea but people will again, cry and scream over the ppl that put in 40+ hours a week having an advantage over themselves, when they only play casualy.
