need an equip independent class !

Hy Guys,

my problem is as followed:
Because i have no time farming mc every sunday, i´m looking for a class which is equip independent.

I will play either a roque or a mage, so please help me by telling which of these two classe needs more rare/epic equip in order to do pvp without too much frustration :).

I can do scholo, strat, dm etc, but i dont think i get the t1 set. I might also get the rank 10 pvp set, but thats it.

So is it possible to achieve 3,6 k hp and 5,5 k to 6 k mana with a blue geared mage ( i dont care about critchance or +spldmg that much)?

Or is it possible to achieve a 4 k hp + with a blue geared roque?

What class would you take if you knew you´ll never meet t1/t2?

Mages suck horribly in PvP without spelldamage, it's the most important stat in PvP. If you just want sta you can easily achieve 4k hp with blue gear, but spelldamage is far more important imo. Rogue is the better option imo, you can quite easily get your hands on lobotomizer and bonscraper and a decent set of attackpower gear and you can manage well in PvP with that. Mages kinda need the imba trinkets to even be able to PvP properly.

well i guess you cant expect more from a gnome =)

i am playing a rogue twink myself and i think a rogue will be your best choice.
if you can get a spot on a ZG raid maybe you'll be VERY good to go and play pvp

hunter is probably the best. even with just a bloodseeker quest bow from AV, you will be pretty effective.

I support this.
Especially going beastmastery, you'll be very equip independant. Even though that sucks in mass pvp. 0/31/20 is pretty equip independant as well and as an ex-hunter I know you can be #1 in ab everytime since I always was myself.

Don't be fooled, being at the top of the page doesn't mean you're good, and in many cases it means you're bad (even as a hunter). This isn't counter strike.

hunter, couple of dire maul runs and u got barbarous blade, leggings of destruction, and ogre forged hauberk. then just get a carapace spine crossbow, and imo ur strong enough to farm ur honor set, just pickout the low hp mages.

I never took the time to do that, i leveled to 60 on battleground exp (perhaps 1-2 levels harpies), cuz pve sucks. Did fine with the gear I just bought.
Oh and i never said i was good, just that it's easy to be #1. Gear independant.
I don't see how #1 can mean you're bad tho, I can't be beat in duels by almost anyone, only my closest friends which happen to be the servers best, but since hunter felt like easymode I made a warlock, which is also kind of easymode because of it's options, but harder to "master".
