Warrior or Priest

Heya,

I m an European player and a big fan of Nurfed, and I need your advice for my retail choice of class. I have tested all class till lvl 35-40, and my 2 favourite are Warrior and Priest, but I will not have time to test them to 60 :( , I want to go herbalism/Alchemy.

My Question is, which class is better between warrior and priest at 60 for :

- PvP

- Group Instanced

- Solo item pharming

The link to download the UI is on the front page called WoW Interface ;). As far as class picks, well those 2 are the cornerstone of any group, so neither is a bad choice for PvE or PvP grouping, solo item farming a warrior probably fairs better than a priest due to a higher kill rate.

Once your level 60, you won't be farming items solo...chances are you'll be doing instance raids.

Anyways, Pick the class that best suits your playstyle... and if you can't decide which one is your play style...consider that Priest is the least played class in the game. =]

Actually I think druids are played less than priests. In the stress test though there was no question priests were the least played. The higher # of priests than druids might be leftover from when priests had cc and awesome damage spells.

imho are the least played classes are hunters, druids, warlocks...

Warrior kill rate at 60 is still so high ? higher than a shadow priest ? (31 Shadow + disc )

Thought since last warrior nerf (since your awesome video) the kill rate was equal priest kill rate .

Blizzard is constantly trying to "ballance" each class into equal kill rate. Do not pic the class you want to play on its current list in the Uber chart. Find something you will enjoy, if its tanking and slashing, be warrior, if its healing and casting, be a priest.

Ok I made my choice : Warrior cause of kill rate and the last patch (Priest reagent etc... )

Now I need to choice Orc or Tauren !

Tauren just got new mounts, but occassionally have problems getting around the geometry but I still would be a tauren cause you get Teats!

I say go priest but hey I'm biased. A priest should not expect to out kill a warrior, it's not our job. I've been an evil cleric / priest all my days. I continue to be because it's what I enjoy and excel at. I'm not worried about solo'n xxx mobs in yyy mins. I'm worried about keeping my folks alive when the shit hits the fan, adds are inc and the main tank just went down. Priests heal, tanks tank, dps does dps. You should choose a character that goes along with your playstyle and attitude of what you really want to be. Find something you enjoy, and make it great. Don't get some class / combo you think will be great, and try to force it into something you enjoy.
