View Full Version : Q: Warrior (troll). Hitpoint regeneration percentage

Allright, my question is the following:

With the racial trait of troll that grants you 10% hp regen during combat. Does that STACK up with 3/3 Blood Craze?
Is your hp regen then at 25% for the next 20 seconds, or how does it work?

I also remember reading somewhere on this forum that hp regen % was capped at 10%, is this true or false?

Any feedback from an experienced warrior would be greatly appreciated.

Note:

Troll Racial passive: 10% hp regen may continue during combat.

Blood Craze - 3/3 points
Allows 15% of your Health regeneration to work during combat for 20 seconds
after being the victim of a critical strike.

As a troll warrior 10% of your health innately works in combat. With 3 points in Blood Craze you recieve 15% Bonus regen for the next 20 seconds. I enjoy it greatly myself. At level 34 I run about 6-7 hp a tick and when Blood Craze is active that jumps up to about 18 a tick. Not amazing I know but when you start looking at the math of it over long periods of time it's actually very nice.

Thanks for the fast response. :)

I'm REALLY bad at math, so correct me if I'm wrong. So if Blood Craze gets "activated", the regen is 15%, and the 10% is no longer active until Craze has run out or is it added up.

25% hp regen at lvl 60 sounds kinda crazy to me, that would be awsome.

Dal's numbers above would indicate blood craze stacks with the troll attribute for 15 seconds of 25% regen when you get critted.

Last I heard, combat endurance does NOT stack with the troll attribute, I don't know for sure though.

IMHO blood craze is pretty bad. It only kicks in when you get critted, and takes 15 seconds for the full effect to happen. When I see this talent it reads "when you take random extra damage, earn a little bit of that back, but not enough to make it the same as a normal hit, and not fast enough to actually save you if you're getting killed" and I go :S. I might care if it gave one 100% regen tick (7 ticks of 15% is 105%) so that it would actually slow down someone critting the snot out of you, but as it stands I feel there are better choices.

I'm not teh legendary Indalamar though.

Just let me get one thing clear, it is 15% hp PER tick, and not 15% hp gained over the duration of the "spell"?

English is not my native language.. :<

And yer, I realize I have to get a crit on me, but to my experience.. or atleast I'd like to think so. In a duel/pvp, there's bound to be landing a crit on you pretty fast. And when that first crit has landed, it won't take a full 20 sec before another crit hits you.

Which brings me to my next question, when you are hit by a crit. while already running Craze, will it refresh itself?

Thanks for taking the time to answer an 00b ~.^

It depents on ur spirit how high the hp regen is if its 80 out of combat trolls get 8 hp/tick and if it stacks with bloodcraze they will get 20hp/tick

IF.. :)

Reason I'm trying to figure this out is 'cause it will help me decide wether to go with ud or troll warrior.
If the regeneration really can compensate, all-round ofcourse, with the immunity of the undead.
If in fact it is 25% PER tick, I think it more than will.

EDIT:

Just read your post more thoroughly, I'm kinda drousy and tired atm. :)
So it's dependant solely on spirit, huh? Hm.. then I really don't know.
I was thinking it was more in the line of i.e. If the warrior had 1k hp, you would get 100 hp per tick from 10% regen.
Seems to me the amount of hp gained each tick will be very low, even at lvl 60, when it's dependant on spirit. Is it really worth it?

10% of combat regen isn't 10% of your total HPs. It means if you would normally regen 100 hp a tick out of combat, during combat you will regen 10% of that, or 10 hps/tick.
