But, since I'm in no way going to get High Warlord, those weapons are not an option (yet ;)). So, uhm, the Perditions blade + Dragonfang blade, or CHT?

it's part of a quest, you use it for killing another furbolg and then it's gone, but you can simply abandon the quest after getting the rod und use it forever.

I believe that at one point a weapon chain on your offhand could prevent the mainhand from being disarmed (not sure if that is still the case). So the fist weapon in Ming's bags could be used to prevent a Grand Marshals Dirk in his main hand from being disarmed.

He used to be combatspec (fistspecced)

he respecced 31/8/12 recently, but rerespecced combat fist now though ~_~
