I don't know if you notice this as much as I do Tivoli, but harmful status effects are listed near the group portraits for all party members, so if you are looking for things to cure/dispel it's all in one place. Except for yourself however, which is shown way over on the other side of the screen. I miss things on myself a lot because I put more focus on the group window.

Think you could add the status effect icons for yourself there? I /suggested a few times during beta but never got anywhere.

The problem with putting them under your character portrait is for players that have pets since the pet bar comes up below their portrait.

Don't debuffs show up to the right of the portrait though and not below?

For the group members yes, but look to the right of your portrait when you have something targetted ;), that targetting box takes up that space, and under the target frame is their buffs/debuffs, so there isn't a lot of room to put much around the player frame unfortunately.

Surely you can fit at least 4 debuff icons 2x2 in there =)
