So is Nurfed staying on Arch reguardless of wait?

It was just posted that SiN (which I am a member) is staying on Gorefiend. I have mixed reactions to this, and was wondering if you or any other guild has decided to move or not.

Anyway, I hate to see Archimonde break down like it is.. but it seems like there is no other way... This really sucks especially since Blizzard hasn't really been clear on much, other than they are trying to to "fix" something.

I just really want to see the competition, and am in love with PvP, and hope somehow things will work out.

Thanks for your time,
Tiffani

I noticed that, but its a day later, and wasn't sure if any of your leadership was talking to others or not...

I think most of Nurfed is disappointed that we won't get to have one server with the top competitive guilds, which is what all of nurfed was excited about and is also the main reason we have been so stubborn about moving.

Each time we hear one of the old school guilds is giving up on archimonde... well it's that much less competition for us. Good competition is why we play these games.

Which is the reason why I posted... "Good competition is why we play" could not agree more!

Sorry that it seems we won't be killin eachother... :(

Dogma nearly moved to Warsong. In the end, we decided to stay. We'll take this time to get ready and refine our levelling plan. I hope all the other major guilds decide to stay as well.

Arch looks to still be the premiere PvP server. There haven't been many guilds moving. I only know of 5 or 6.

I only hope the queue will let me in this time so I can get to level 3 ;)

With our own cluster with the 4 servers that are down lets hope there is no queue.

That's what my friend and I were discussing. You'd figure we would have the least amount of queues/lag/db lag of any server cluster once this is over. We just have to remain hopeful that they can deliver what they are promising.

Yeah, not like that "this lag is only temporary and will not be in retail... this queue is only temporary and will not be in retail" crap.

If the server cluster rumor is true, then the wait will be more than worth it for one of the 4 servers in the clusters with its own "dedicated support servers". Blizzard must of realized that the server populations would fall from a 48 hour + downtime during retail opening though, and investing the resources to upgrade the 4 servers to have them on par or less populated than the other servers in that datacenter when they come back up is a distinct possibility. At anyrate, i also believe that the competition on Archimonde or any server for that matter will be set by one dominant guild, and everyone else, regardless of faction will play better rising to the challenge. The challenge for the dominant guild will be to maintain focus over time and keep their edge.

I've seen the same over the last few online RPGs I've played. Usually a few smaller guilds/clans step it up a notch and contend over the lifetime of the server though.
