When should I do WC?

What level should I head to WC? I am almost 18 now was gonna go kill spiders for the deepsmoss quest when the servers went down. Was wondering if I should wait until 20+ to do wc.

hm i think u can start with 18 ! Its an easy dungeon with a good group !
Not sure if a group of lvl18s can take out the 24 boss but the rets should be possible.

You can easily do the quest with an 18-group, but I doubt you can take the murlock without a good group or a higher level warrior, he has to be hitting enough to hold agro.

You could "probably" do up through the big tree with 18's. I actually think shamans tank him better than warriors at that level since Rockbitter and Earthshock will likely generate more aggro than a warrior wiffing with half his swings. The 24 murloc boss, on the other hand, will be very hard with 18's. Your tank will be hard pressed to hold aggro and your healers will probably get it very quickly.

With a pickup group, don't mess with WC until you're around 22. And if your tank is under level 21 with sub-par gear...well, one crit from Verdan and you're up a creek.

Note that I don't think I'll ever be doing WC again unless it's with my friends or I'm the master looter or something. Way too many bad experiences with pickup groups in there...y hello thar mage looting the seedcloud buckler!
