Well I am doing indals talents of course, but I am getting items left and right. Now I have 1k armor and only level 15. I have a 7.6 dagger not so hot but does the job. I am doing 10 times better then I would with my two handed axe. For one of the bonuses you get shield bash which pretty much is pummel and is extremely usefull. Please post up what you think about 1h and shield vs 2h. I am thinking about changing the template around a little so I can use the shield when I am 60. If this is a good idea or not please post on this too. Thanks alot fellas I only post here cause you guys know what your talking about ;)

Hopefully I can get a indal post up! :)

Well its simple 1h/shield will never cut it for pvp, unless you get ganked and want to use shield wall, or you get disarmed then put on shield (shield wall if needed) to increase your defense while disarmed and switch back.

Also shield bash is easy to do with a 2h, just have all the items set up like this on your UI shield > shield bash > 2h, so as soon as any caster is casting something worth bashing just press x1 x2 and x3, job done.

Also why would you want to change the talent build to go for shield, you cna sue shield any time and tank just as good.

Indeed, I have a 2 hander warrior and if i ever need to shield bash i have my keys set up so i can quickly change, shield bash, and then be right back in arms. Thank god for Tactical Mastery.

I use a shield occasionaly, I have hotkeys to switch between my sword/board and my 2h and I do just that on a regular basis. However in pvp, soloing, and quite often when grouped I use my 2h over sword/shield.

The shield has a couple perks, mainly the extra armor and shield bash, but honestly if you are fast enough with your hotkeys you can switch from 2h to s/b, hit shield bash, and switch back to your 2h without missing a single attack. I personally would advise very strongly against using anything but a slow 2h weapon end game. If you haven't played a warrior before then when you get to 60 and have my full talent spec fleshed out you will see first hand that s/b doesnt come remotely close to 2h in most situations.
