Enhancement Shamans

Hey guys,

I''ve been playing a shaman since day 1 of retail, been lvl 60 for about 11 months, and I've been specced enhancment for 95% of that time.

However it's become tough recently with the lack of enhancement gear in comparison to elem gear.

Are any of you guys left out there? If so, is it smart for me to continue with enhancement.

I have 5 EF, 2 TS, a TUF, aurastone, 26% base crit and 500+ Ap with enhance gear on with over 4k mp/hp

I'm no newb to the spec with either experience or gear, however it seems to get tougher to stay this way.

I used to be hardcore enhance, but itemization has not allowed me to continue down this path. I am now Elemental because ranged damage in a system where warriors can nearly 1 round you if you dont have a shield on is the only way to go.

if i didnt PvP now i would be enhance for sure because it puts out some good DPS even in MC / BWL while reserving your mana to heal.

shaman + shield = pally armor, do it. (assuming typical pally with orange hammer/asscandy)

Every time a Shaman goes for DPS a kitten dies in a car fire.

Paladin + shield = why does it takes 15 seconds to do one ms..
