On just unoffically becoming the guild to beat. :)

Official or whatever means nothing.

WMD considered Nurfed the guild to fight on horde on this server (as we have battled them in the past towards the end of their run on SB) and know they play for the same reasons we do.

I only regret LoD went back pacific, I would have loved to see the difference in pvp rankings.

LoD vs Nurfed in rankings, or WMD vs LoD in rankings?

Cause LoD doesn't compare to Nurfed.

On Death when I was gaming with Nurfed we would wtfpwn 60-70 LoD with less than 2 full groups.

I meant it as in whats posted on boards about the rankings, not how close the rankings will be.

Regardless, I always expect people to not give WMD a chance and we just attempt to prove ourselves. Last time we fought nurfed we had only been on the server for a couple weeks I think, could have been better pvp because by that time your guys were slowly quitting the game.

Im not sure how you meant the comment WMD vs Nurfed in rankings.

I mistyped, I meant WMD vs LoD. I fixed it.

I remember you guys from Death. At the time I played you had a lot of newbs, but I could also tell that the core was decent. Understanding that you were new then, I really have no basis to judge your current skill.

LoD vs WMD, meh.

Our skills more in the small scale pvp, in SB we had to adapt to larger scale pvp. If anything I consider the death time probably our most slack and not caring moments (due to moving servers and having little to prove), we tried again on entropy and had better results (first city on the map, never lost a tree in 9 months).

Regardless, I think SB was more template based PvP than what I would have liked, not the most skill involved. Should be fun, regardless.

I would have good reason to believe you guys are better than LoD in small scale PvP.

As to less skill involved, I really disagree. There was skill involved in making templates, but there was also plenty of skill in properly applying your template in the group situation.

I would agree with that, but the problem with the templates was in the majority of pvp a poorly played good template could beat a well played bad template, it had too much of a role in the game.

I believe that the actual char should only make up around 50% of the actual fight, and the other 50% being how its played.

In the end, shadowbane became about buffs too much. I had one guy in the guild that played 4 accounts at all time, a huntress, warlock, priest, and bard. Just gets a bit silly, really.

and to be fair to LoD, those guys were not LoD, LoD just made a bunch of mistakes subbing and making some zerg nation. I quit after the game after the fight a phoenix or whatever. Played for 22 hours straight and it was just one stupid zerg fest after another.

Wasnt much fun, and wasnt that good of pvp.
