Question about +weapon gear

If I get http://thottbot.com/?i=19474 for example, how does this affect my overall DPS? To my understanding, +weapon just makes it so you're shooting as a higher level so you miss less....but anything else? How much more are you hitting?

It also makes your crit jump a little per + point. It doesn't note that in the description and I never thought it did but it does.

I believe sintor said at some point that +x weapon skill puts you on the next lvl so those pants put you at your lvl +1 vs the mob you attack. It has nothing to do with how much + weaponskill you get if you go over the 5 point mark from levels you get an extra lvl. So OEB would put you at lvl 62 with human racial thats lvl 63 those pants would put you at lvl 61 all asuming your lvl 60 ofc.

I believe 1 point of weapon skill increase crit by 0.04 or something its so tiny you dont really feel it unless you are missing weaponskill massively.

This is all something i seem to remmeber weather it is try i wont comment on i just think i read sintor posting it at some point, so i might be totaly wrong.

It's 5 skill for every level tier.

300 (total weapon skill) / 60 total levels = 5.

So yeh, 305 weapon skill vs. a level 61 mob and it''s like you're fighting a level 60 mob if you have 300 weapon skill.

not true... +def still adds its dodge/parry/-crit same goes for +weapon that adds its +crit
