So is downloading pirated music off the internet.
Formly known as Winter's Roar - Shards of Dalaya. It's the most complete EverQuest 'free server' you will ever find.

Some Nurfed members have played it.

Yea, thats the one my friends are playing on, didn't know if there were many others. I was relaly hoping to find one that had original/kunark/velious and not all that pop shit.
It's a custom server, none of the content is EverQuest related. A Pre-Planes of Power EverQuest server would be kind of cool. The game is out dated though. I tried playing a few weeks ago and I couldn't figure out how to move. :(

Yea I didn't log into it yet. I'm a lil bummed about that. Was hoping to find one with all the old content, there was one called Lucid Vision, run by the EQ guild that was pvp-oriented, but a lot of bugs in it last i played and I think its now defunct. Sony should look into making an old school server, there is a ton of banter about it on the message boards.
Lucid Vision was a run off of EverQuest: Guild Wars (1, 2, and 3!) which was all pre-velious with some custom content like taking over towns and placing guards.
Lucid Vision the guild - that ran the server - actually plays on Archimonde, alliance. A lot of them seem to have disappeared but i'm assuming that's because the PVP sucks in this game and they are a pvp orientated guild.
LV is long long gone and let me just note, Savor and I raped the shit out of all of those servers. sup. 8)
i think they actually are planning a classic server. daoc did it, and i guess it could be considered a success, so eq is likely to follow suit.
i think it'll flop though. eq was most people's first mmorpg and that magic simply cannot be re-created, as much as i wish it could.
