Hello,
To avoid various flames and trolls, I would like to say beforehand that I have read all of the posts on the current forums regarding recruitment, and I do realize that Nurfed is invite only, and is based around your present characteristics and abilities, rather than your achievements in the past, which many inexperienced guilds seem to value highly. This post is not a plea to join Nurfed, but a simple request: to give me a chance to show you what kind of person I am.
I realize that it seems fairly awkward for someone who is unknown to anyone in the guild to make a post asking for a chance. But in the first few days of retail, with the server woes that my friends can not seemingly handle, I have come to the realization that if anything, the number one thing I would like to accomplish in this game is to develop a group of competent people (which are hard to find these days, mind you..) in which to progress through the game with.
Rather than go over what I have done in the past, I will focus on what I am currently doing in World of Warcraft today. My name is Kevin, or “Tyrant” in game. I am currently a level 15 Tauren Shaman (as of 2:30EST 11/23). I am seventeen years old, a senior in High School, and I hold a part time job maintaining a web page for a Real Estate company in my hometown of Manchester, CT. I cannot play games without PvP. To me, competition is the main point of playing such a kind of MMORPG. I currently play around eight hours a day, but of course I made an exception for retail, as I have been awake since 11pm EST last night..but I tend to be on solidly everyday.
This is not a request for guilding, but merely to ask some of the members of Nurfed to give me a chance in a group. If you are looking for an extra healer or just another auxiliary member for a group, please feel free to send me a whisper under Tyrant.
