i´ve watched bleach since episode 1 as well, as soon as it aired.. cuz generally i watch all new anime shows´ first episode to tell if it´s good or not, and so you learn what to watch ^^
btw anyone has seen monster? it's a great anime as well, altho not about fighting, but a thriller kind of thing.. watch the first 10 eps and you'll be hooked for sure. I've seen a lot of anime's and this one's story is so good.. You really have to watch it even if you don't like it's genre like me :P
every episode i'm on the edge of my chair.
p.s you should read bleach's manga on bleach7.com, or just download a batch on torrentspy.com or something, it's 197 eps so far and it's the best manga there is period.

berserk is the best manga.
as for anime, i liked bleach but its so teh mianstraem and it kinda bored me, when i touched the first filler episodes. but every tv show meets the fate of the filler sooner or later... just like naruto atm. imo naruto > bleach, cuz the fights in naruto have sometimes tremendous action (i've watched ep133 for 10+ times and still save it on my hd for the next time i like to rewatch ^^).
p.s.: best way around fillers - never watch 1 episode per week as they release it, but wait for a couple of months, play some wow, read some harray poertt and then watch 10+ at once. works best against fillers.

Even though my avatar is Naruto, Bleach is far better than Naruto these days.
The last real enjoyable story-line in Naruto was the Gaara story - it had a psychotic killer, violence, and naruto wasn't always doing Kagabushin-bullshit.
You say to keep watching episode 133. Have you missed the 20+ episodes afterwards that are pure crap? How often does Naruto get his butt kicked when supposedly he's the demon? Seriously, how many fights since 133 has he used kagabushin-bullshit and got owned? And the art is going WAY down in quality. I've seen drawings that a 6 year old could do in a few episodes, it's really pathetic.
The nice thing about Bleach? There's no "filler" fights and there is no fight where you're like "Wtf dude use your ability!" Ever single Bleach fight (especially lately) has been more like "Wtf dude use you-......HELL YEAH! OWN HIM!"
Sorry man Naruto has so much filler it's bad - I think in 155 episodes, there have been MAYBE 30 good ones. Bleach is like 90% (all besides those stuffed animal Bowah-ah crap)

I havent watched till ep51 but i already got bored by some of the earlier episodes ... and naruto does craft some techniques/plans in his fights, while the guy in Bleach takes his opponents down buy raw strenght only. It is ofcourse still a question of you taste, you cant truly argument, why this or that film/anime is better, even the oscar is a sympathiy prize afterall.

Actually, Bleach won't degenerate like that. Read the manga. Naruto headed itself towards mediocrity while Bleach is still throwing curveballs.

The Naruto manga doesn't contain any fillers though, and the anime is still filled with it, but hopefully Bleach won't be that way.

Bleach will have fillers as well soon too. Look at the speed the anime caught up to the manga, it´s amazing.
I expect the anime will be containing filler between the end of the soul-society saga and the start of the storyline of where the manga is now. Otherwise the anime would catch up in about 20 episodes, and then what..
There can only be no filler if the manga episodes are sped up, or if the anime stops for a while.
We all know the 2nd thing won't happen (money), but let's hope the creators of Bleach don't get too commercial and fuck up the manga in this period and after by doing the 1st thing and leaving all the details out, which then the anime creators have to make up.
