i saw this item 2 times yesterday, first on www.wowguru.com

I'm sure they have an ability to hide, they appear when they zone into specific areas like instances before they disappear again (assumption, we had seen a few GMs appear in Zul'Gurub when we were on the test server).. that is how a lot of people were picking up Nefarius items (and GM items) before Nefarius was dead.

Every time you load a player all of their items (inventory) are put into your item cache and fansites use that item cache for their item database.

that was back in the days where the MC-idīs were bugged? Our GM was a nightelf-priest with very strange equip.
