Successful PVP Talent Templates for Hunters?

Just a quick question-for those in the "know" what seems to be the standard hunter talent template on PVP servers now that we are past the 1.7 patch?

I've read a lot of 30 21 and 21 30 specs...(0/30/21 or 3/21/30) but rarely do I see anything with that, i.e., exact talents being used.

Problem is there are certain elements of marksmanship that I would be very wary of avoiding..I realized scatter shot has always been a good thing and I'm sticking with that...but compared to my previous template 11/40/0 (yes I know) I have a feeling my marksmanship talents need to be surgically placed. I am a new level 60 hunter and I do not have Beastmaster or other drops. Presently I am considering saving for an arcanite reaper over an epic mount...anyway I digress.

Question is...what PVP marksmanship template is a must have for a 30 marksmanship spec . In survival I've actually taken entrapment and imp wingclip...which some tell me is a one or the other choice only in the 30 21 template.


If someone had a lot of energy...I would really be greatful for a few must have talent explanations so in the least I know what I should have in order to try to survive in open field pvp as well as the Battle Grounds.

Save for your Epic Mount, it will be more worth wild =)

I just hate the regular Mounts ever since I got my Epic.
Also with the reduction of the Arc Reaper's Power, it's cheaper to just get the other weapons. Typhoon or the two 1H Crit Axes.

Nice reply on that site thank you. However..someone kindly fill me in..just exactly what is the 31 20 template..there are at least a few ways to arguable go in both survival and mm...if someone could elaborate on what are the expected talents please educate me :)

For the record, the reaper is still the same for hunters since raptor strike is not instant. However, if you do MC you might as well wait for the staff. But yeah, I'd still say get a mount first.
