Tivoli/Envie Your take on a Shadowpreist

Well with release around the corner i have been trying to decide which class i would like to be. I know lots of other people are also trying to decide but i would like the opinion of those who know more about the game. One thought i had was to be a a preist with the shadow talents. I will be duoing and soloing alot, and my guild is comprised of a whole mix of classes (alot of which are shaman) and i figured that if we had myself healing combined with a shaman that even without the healing talents our group would still be fine. I would really like the opinion of Tivoli or Envie on this one though, but anyone else who has any clue about this issue please feel free to give me some advice =). Sorry if this is a repeated question I would just really like the opinion of someone who has alot of info on this topic.

a priest in my group = healer

seeing as you in no way can heal better then a holy priest and want to go shadow, i suggest you roll a mage

and no a shadow priest cant heal as good as a holy one, just look at the talents and you se why :wink:

Well i wanted to do a shadow/holy spec something along the lines of this.

Shadow Mastery

I am not looking to be the BEST healer, and grouping will not be a problem because i am in a guild large enough that i will always be able to have a suitable group. I will also be soling /duoing with my brother. I was wondering if this kind of build has the posibility to be effective in groups/raids when i am in them, and excatly how well i can do solo/duoing.

I hear that Shadow Spec. priests are the best for Soloing. But I dunno. If you wanna make a Shadow priest, roll that shit.

just to quickly add, i would rather go shadow/dic over shadow/holy, think you got to make somewhat of a choice here and going shadow/dic is a way beter one imo
