Mage Question , arcane power or blastwave?

Ok I am debating between 2 builds.
I'll make this basic and to the point

31arcane / 20 fire - Does not give blastwave, but gives AP , and more mana

30fire/21arcane - Has blastwave , critical mass, fire power and arcane's PoM but no AP and also no increase in mana

Mages out there that are experienced :

Would you sacrafice Blastwave for arcane power and more mana ?
or
Would you sacrifice more mana and arcan power for blastwave, critical mass, and fire power?

I am having trouble with these 2 decisions.
How good is blastwave? I know its an AoE and has a 6 second daze affect. Too me that sounds good on pen and paper, but so does more mana and AP.

It's a personal choice. Try both and see what you like.

Things will also change as more people get Fire Resist gear and Fire Protection potions as the server matures...
