A healing specced druid can out heal a healing specced priest from what I understand. But the druid still can not rez. I expect talents to get balanced a little in favor of the priest soon.

I would find that very hard to believe. Blizzard is well known for internal testing before patches are released, this is not something they would let slip. I am sure if you crunc the numbers that even with talents the druid would be #2. On the other hand I do not think the margins of improvement are very large right now (except when talking about shamans). So I could see priests getting a bit of a buff in the healing dept. because druids can come closer than most people think they should considering the utility they can also pack.

I do not see any nerf to druid healing as being nessecary, just a little bump up to the preist healing perhaps.

Druids just get more mana-effective heals to my knowledge, priests have better burst healing.

Druids can't heal better than Priests :roll: . The only reason that perception's around is that Druid's healing talents are limited to one tree, while Priest healing talents are spread out mostly over 2 trees. All number crunching aside, the real question is which class is better at keeping people alive, and the answer's undoubtedly Priest.

Anyway Druid healing already got nerfed this patch, the Nature's Swiftness bug got fixed, Improved Healing Touch went from 20% to 15%, and the Improved Regrowth talent (which wasn't that good anyway) went from the 3rd tier to the 6th tier. And there's now a really useless talent at the bottom of the Druid healing tree. I don't understand all the Druid hate on the Priest forum :(.

In addition to being more mana efficient the druids were supposed to have more crits and higher crits. This may have been changed with those other things. Also, another thing that priests and shamans have is the talent that ups AC on a crit heal. That plus rez are two very nice abilities for healing classes.
