Which boots would you use as a warrior for tanking (non MC)?

Had a heated dissussion about tankinggear, even though I'm not a warrior (fulltime).

Would you pay 70g to upgrade from saphirons scale boots to boots of avoidance just because someone told you it's a must for tanking?

Grimy metal boots are better for tanking vs. a melee mob of those 3.. and none do anything against fire spells.

Well, that's only true if you're going for mitigation over avoidance I guess.

I mean they have no sta and 1 less dodge?
