is there anything i should know about rerolling to a rogue? i envy rogues stealth ability so much that I decided to roll one. I love the idea of hopping out of the shadows for a ton of damage, and stunlocking an opponent. I also can't stand that most of the chars i have played: Druid ~ Priest ~ Mage, don't get sick ass weapons heh.
If there is anything I should know i would be appreciated... like.. don't roll a rogue... lol.
Thx

I think in Pvp rogues are nasty.
Rogues are all about soloing, you can't get a WSG group cause warriors both outdmg you and they have more HP + armor. If you like being alone in the shadows just sitting there doing nothing and when (not often) a mage runs by alone, and then do something, then rogue is your char.

Well first of all, if you do not roll your roge on a new server you need good connections to ever get into a raiding guild with a rogue. At least it's like that on my server. There is like 8+ raiding guilds horde side and soo many 60 rogues go unguilded or are with smaller guilds who cannot raid. Maybe there is one god forsaken server somwhere where there are to few rogues, who knows...

Up to UBRS, a rogue has some nice perks to offer a group, and when played to its fullest brings alot of utility to a group. However, once you get into MC, all you have is damage. Now given the fact that I am consistently outdamaging other classes in MC, I still find that end game content is not as satisfying for a rogue. However, playing a rogue is a unique experience. They are incredibly fun to play, and truly hold a special place imho. Ive rolled a hunter and a warrior as well, and absolutely loved playing both. But the rogue's ability really adds another layer to the game, at least for me. Mass pvp can get tricky, but with the right build, (21-8-22 seems to be the best for pvp), you can consistently make a difference behind enemy lines.
All comes down to your feelings and expectations of the class, but if you ask me, you will have alot of fun rolling one : P

I was gunna say if you're good you can probably get in MC groups. But thinking about it I know sooo many rogues that only get in because they're friends with someone, or the GLs brother or something.. and most rogues HATE other rogues ime, lol. ESPECIALLY if you're better than them.
edit: I never played a rogue, so not talking about myself.

i play on stormscale eu, i know the "best rogues", some arenīt in guilds idd. But some of them also happen to be little bitches with bad manners, which imo is the reason they're not in top end guilds.
but let's be honest here, if you can gather enough friends to make your own guild, would that be a problem?
no, it wouldn't.
But if you're a bitch no-one will join you anyways, and not everyone can lead a top end guild.
that's all something to consider as a rogue.. you might also first make a priest/warlock, get that 60, in the best guild, and make an alt rogue once you have made the connections.
Everybody has a rogue as 2nd char i think, nothing you need to know.
Besides its hardest to get a group for pve and pvp as a rogue cause everyone has a rogue and you dont need that many of them.
Imo better get a priest or druid, priests are superb in pvp and pve and you always need them same for druids + druids will be buffed soon -> blizz is very bad in buffing/balancing stuff, they strong now and will maybe be even better soon :P

why do you think druids are strong?
i was leveling a druid earlier, then i saw it didn't have any dps lol, and the wow forums were so damn pessimistic, i just rerolled a rogue.
this thread made me consider it btw. I have a lot of characters and get bored around level 30 aka 2 days played, or like it and i read about how it sucks.
right this moment i still do not know what i'd like to play.
I would want to play a druid for a reason i dunno, just feeling some attraction to it, how much people want druids etc.. but on the other hand, no dps, bad zerg pvp ability, blizzard even acknowledges they suck, and scorch is saying the new buffs won't solve anything because it's a scaling issue, so it has to do with the other top end weapons..
well rogue doesn't have problems there i think.. itemization for casters just sucks tbh.
My friends say i should play hunter since they think i'm so godly with that, but that's boring too.
Maybe wow just isn't something for me, it gets boring too quick..

wel i just had a long talk with my friend that i made a bet with lol.
gotta get 60 or dump my girlfriend, i think that's enough motivation for me ^^.
i chose to build my druid to 60, because apart from pvp, i'm convinced it's really fun in pve, and once i get mc gear i'll just have to own non mc geared guys in pvp -_-
