What is a Rogue's main purpose in PvPing at 5v5 and zerg raids?. I was also wondering if Rogues are a good/fun class to make, like is it worth the time to make a Rogue?

One of the main duties of a rogue in pvp is taking out the casters, 2 of the cloth users have fear hence the need for WOF.

orc... resis to stun, pft not so usefull for a rogue and axe mastery... why, str no need and last but not least pet mastery... you have no pets.

Every 1.5mins you can guarenteed take out a cloth class from stealth... thats uber as hell. Nothing hurts a rogue more than a priest who psychic screams. Thats our PRIMARY target.

UD rogue for the win, WOF, rogues need it since a casters main defense is fear. The priest is most likely to fear u right away since he needs time to heal his group, but if u WOF and come back right away, the priest will be distracted.

What is a rogues primary prey? casters, ie Priest. You pick you race so that you have the highest advantage of killing your prey.

In this case if you aren't an undead rogue, you have a major disadvantage. Free immune trait CAN NOT be overlooked no matter how short or long the duration/recast is.

Stats such as regen, agi, sta can be made up easily with gear, free immunity can not.

the ONLY way i wouldnt go UD would be if I went alliance(pfft} in which case i dont see how you could go any other way but Gnome.

This is the reason I am going Paladin for retail. Alliance priest is a fodder when faced with all the UD people running around. I dont feel like dieing everytime UD rogue decides its a good idea to kill me. Now Redoubt +Holy shield and they can attack me all they want + stun and mezz to get them off me if I really need to.

If you can be UD be UD, simple rule.

You can wtfpwn every single priest you are able to sneak up on as an undead. While an orc will have a real hard time with those priests he can't kill before stun wears off. As an orc once kidney shot wears off, if that priest is still alive, you will be feared and the kill will be lost the vast majority of the time.
