Holy/Disc Spec Good at PVP??

I was wondering on how the pvp is for holy/disc priest and do they consume alot of honor as a shadow priest?.

Are you serious? my priest friend respeccs shadow just for pvp and grinding.. i'm not talking about group pvp btw, so i think that comes down to duels kinda.
i'm on a european server, so we don't have mass people like u do @ archimonde, think that matters somewhat as well.

Holy/Disc priests are Godly in zerg PvP in places like AV with a good group.

A priest is a healer in pve and pvp if they know what they are doing. Mindflay sucks and flash heal rocks, zing!

Sure shadow if you duel..but dueling is fake pvp decided and limited by class imbalances vs. another class, and isn't of any concern to anyone who isn't retarded.

hmm my friend says he doesn't like grouping, and he ends up #1 most of the times, doing killing blows gives a lot of bonus honor and that's what he does a lot, with shadow.
tbh i'd play with shadow also, cuz healing all the time in instances is boring enough already.

well i hate being a healer in brs/strat/scholo because they're all like "omg we must fill the group with the perfect setup cuz this it to hard for uz1!!!11111!!1!1" so often throwing renews around is enough

Here's my group pvp talent build.

5 unbreakable will
3 improved pws
2 improved pwf
5 mental agility
5 mental strength
3 improved inner fire
5 meditation
1 inner focus
1 force of will
1 divine spirit

5 improved renew
5 holy spec
5 spiritual healing
2 improved flash heal

3 blackout



The 3 blackout helps me out when I have melee on me, that's about it. If I was carebear spec I'd run improved healing, but I rarely find gheal worth the risk in pvp. I use divine spirit because my 3 piece transcendance bonus stacks with meditation and makes spirit actually good.

Because we believe that shadow priest is the best PvP class, with Shaman, and we're talking small scale pvp.
And while respeccing to holy/disc you're also the most wanted, being a priest. So it's like the best of 2 worlds

Like I said in another thread, priests are the class who is targetted first in any pvp, and it's not because they have scary damage or offensive spells. It's because healing DPS and mana efficiency is much higher than any damage spells / attacks, and that means of all classes. So if you're a priest and you are casting something other than a heal, you are wasting potential, IMHO.

priests are targetted first because they are normally the healers with the least AC.

Hence you see paladins being targetted last, and druids after priests.

Keyword being normally (vhell is an exception to said rule).

impr. renew+flash heal, focused casting, impr inner fire, impr mana burn, inner focus are all good talents to help you and your group survive
the small damage you can deal comes from sw:p, mind blast and wand shots

A few well placed mana burns don't hurt IMO.
