Hello. While I'm aware of the general principles behind +healing and +spell damage, I was hoping to find more specific information about their implementation.

To my knowledge, these things are approximately true: 1.5 second cast heals recieve about 40 percent of the total +healing bonus, while 3 second cast spells recieve about 80 percent of the bonus.

My questions are as follows. Are these approximations generally correct? Are they exact? Does +spell damage operate on the same scale? (40 percent for 1.5 second casts, etc) Does this represent a flat D/s and HP/s increase -- so that all spells will gain the same increase in time efficiency regardless of casting time? Lastly, how much +healing is needed to see an increase of 1 HP/s?

Thanks in advance for any answers you might have.

I can tell you with certainty that to get 100% of the effect, the cast time needs to be 3.5 (talents that reduce casting don't affect the bonus). So from there you can do the math, or just approximate.

That's from a warlock perspective, if you have any question about the spells and abilities go check them out on thottbot.

NOTE: The listed spells are maximum rank, and from what i can tell, it doesn't take into account +damage gains on lower rank spells.
