First and formost I would just like to say thanks to dal. It's people like him that make me really enjoy games, plus the fact he gives hope. I am a nobody, I have played mmos for the past 7 years, DAoC for 4 years, RO for 1, AC2 for 1, and L2 for 1. Besides that point I just want to say I plan on playing WoW for the next set of years to come, and to see someone like DAL have so much passion in trying to knock some sense into blizzard really gives me hope this game will not fail, but exceed what I orginally figured. So with all that being said, thanks DAL, and thanks for trying so hard with the facts you thought of and the entire fight. I know you have no clue who I am, but I figured one more thank you wouldn't hurt. This leads to my warrior question.

I've read your entire post on warriors. I have read your new and improved build based on the latest patch. I am still pretty much new to WoW, but with my experience in other games, I can sum up an idea of what I would like to do as a warrior in this game. I enjoy duel wield, dodge, finesse type fighters. Doing countless hours of research, reading up on talents skills, comparing to knowledge of other games, and reading countless posts on peoples complaints, views, and experiences, I believe I have found a conclusion. I was reading up on warriors with recent patches and it seems everyone has to do the 2h, ms spec. I am a man that enjoys hardships in classes, with hope that the gimp will later become a top build, thus I can be ahead of the game. I would rather to that than play the build everyone else is doing which, in the end, if made too strong, becomes the gimp class. Anyways I pretty much want to do a DW flurry spec. I was very amazed after thinking about this build to read about your notorious warrior. I also had the honor of watching the video of you tearing it up on the battlefield. Sorry this is becoming too long, so I will cut it down to my question. Is there any reason why I should stay with this build in mind? Should I just say screw it and do a 2h/MS spec and wait to see how patches go, then maybe respec to the flurry again? I would just like the opinion of DAL, or anyone, just to help me get an idea of what I, or anyone in my situation, should do.

Also, as I was writing this, I thought of possibly a total combat rogue build. To describe the theory, pretty much a really strong melee rogue that doesn't use stealth at all but is pretty much like a finesse fighter, using dodge and quick attacks, pretty much everyone knows what I am talking about, I realize this is nothing new. I have no clue if this build/idea is even worth talking about so a quick comment on this would be appreciated. Just asking for opinions, because since I want a DW flurry spec warrior, it might be smarter to do a strong combat rogue, which is pretty much sort of the same concept, just difference in HP/ARMOR.

Thank you for taking the time in reading this, if anyone does. I appreciate any feedback of any kind. Would like to say thanks again to DAL for his efforts, and say I am truly impressed with his performance as a guild leader, game player, and the fight he tried with blizzard (wish blizzard would pay attention, but hey looking at their other works, diablo wc3, starcraft, and how successful those were, maybe in the long run WoW will be added to the list. Either or I think they should have atleast responded with some form of "thanks for your help we will look into it" but I do know blizzard, as a whole, are not good with people skills). Anyways thanks again and hope to read some replies later today. Take it easy.

If you are a DW fan and are determined to make it work I'd honestly say go with a rogue. They have a few talents in the combat tree that let you really capitolize on DW. However the difference between a rogue and a warrior when it comes to survivability is pretty tremednous. The whole DW/Flurry thing is a "neat" idea but what most people failt to realize is that Flurry is Not any more efficient with DW then with a 2h weapon. Sure the effect fires more often but it doesn't net anything more then it would with a 2h. Flurry is actually one of the very few talents that is just a good with 2h as DW. I know a lot of people that want to be able to DW and I have given it a go a few times as well. Unfortunately if you try to DW instead of using a 2h you are just hurting yourself. My advice is play what makes you happy, but if u dont use the same 2h/MS spec as myself you are pretty much inferior in almost every way (in terms of character potential).
