The Eye of Shadow

Its a misery... after getting "The Eye of Divinity", the "Splinter of Nordrassil" is available with this quest, but "The Eye of Shadow" is really getting a big problem...

With the new patch, Kazzak is totally overcamped by both factions... I had no chance to see him alive the last days.. Damn he is so easy to beat... (high pop. server)

Hey you other priests out there with the staff, pls help me a lil' bit, is it really a good idea to group-grind the Winterspring demons? Maybe not only in slow killing speed 5 man groups, but maybe with a raid group that gets down them a lot faster?

Anyone has his Eye of Shadow really from anything that is not Kazzak?

I'm longing for Benediction...

Any other ideas? Pls help me if you can...

it took a 3 man group in my guild (warrior priest and either hunter/mage) 22 hours of killing mobs in Southern winterspring to get the eye of shadow to drop.

ive heard of ppl with 1-3 hours farming them to have the drop . . .

isnt that pain to get, if you count how "hard" is to get the divinity.

40 ppl raid +~6bosses to get to majorhomo . . . to have a 50% drop chance . . . and dkp bidding against ~8 more priests . . .

ye and they wont bid much since the eye of shadow is so hard to get, however my friend got it first mob :\

Ok, I know that in Winterspring hederine slayers/initiate (60 elite) can drop the eye. Can someone confirm that manastalkers or demons mentioned above of level 59 can drop those as well ?

After 4 hours of farming, I feel that it isnt so easy for me to get the party for demonhunting... I would do it 24/7 if I could...

I'm not such a luckor like some of your friends who dropped it in 1-3 hours or with first mob *wow*, but I hope it drops sooner or later...

I dont think so, I killed all bosses in MC more than a dozen times, and so this wasnt the real problem, the eye of shadow is more a prob for me :)

Yes I have it after ~34 hrs of farming Winterspring...

I heard rumors that chance to drop this has increased in 1.8? It was weird that we dropped 2 of this in 2h, after a druid said this of the increased chance to drop!

It's nowhere near that high. I've been farming one for almost 12 hours now, and still haven't got one. The drop rate went up, but not as much as people are saying.

DUDE GROUP FARM, last night our guild leader a priest, 5-9 manned farmed winterspring, and got eye of shadow, and we did the same thing tonight for another priest and got eye of shadow, definitelly get a 5 man and farm.

I heard rumors that a Guild dropped 6!!! of this in some hours farming with I think a 20 Grp on my server... And this Guild is farming MC so they needed all of this 6 ... its crazy... call it imba lol...

My guild and I have gotten 6 in about 2 hours of farming. We've sold 4 of them for 3.5k gold so far on the AH. I'm afraid people are finding out about how easy these are now...

And if there´s a queue at the quest npc complete it in a 5man priest group... wtf exploit!?
