hey
Im wondering 3 things. im thinking of using the Nurfed UI
and i wanna know if there is a UI menue like cosmos for sidebars
i can see most nurfed have a heavy one on the right and nothing left.. or if its preference i dunno

and two! does the UI have the thing where it automatically Posts quests.
you dont have to sit there and wait for them to be written out

and the most Important one of all i guess..

When will a Nurfed UI be available for Retail!
will it be a few minutes in.
or will it be rdy to go pre-retail?
or a day after?

As most will tell you i'm pretty quick to get updates to the UI after patches, so it should be up and ready for release, the current one might even work for release, depends on if they patch or not.

There is a menu in the works, the sidebar on the right is preference because the party members are listed on the left, so it's just logical to put it there. I'm working on making it more configurable in a menu.

Yes quest text appears instantly, no waiting for the text to scroll.

Hopefully the menu will be in not too long after release, i can't really work on it offline while the servers are down since i can't test everything, but some of it is finished and may be in for release. But for the first week or so after release i probably wont' get much done as far as features on the UI since i will be leveling ;).

yeah thats why i was wondering about the UI

because waiting for a quest to write out while your racing to get the hell outta noob zones makes a HUGE difference.

So just to make things clear...

nurfed UI is an instant install. it automatically installs when you click the icon?

and two.. it MIGHT be up so u can have it for release?
nothing to pull you out of your way from leveling though 8)

It's not an instant install, but it's pretty easy, just unzip it to your base wow install folder,

And the second it WILL be up for release with everything that is currently in the UI, and MIGHT have even more features ;).

FYI..

Just a heads up to everyone. There is no need to delete all your files from Beta. All you will need to do is create a new account with credit card etc, and you can log in and play on Wednesday. Thus the current interface should suffice.

Its confirmed below from the Blizz guys .

Q u o t e:
Tyren I am still confused about the playing process on retail. If we do not delete the WoW client from our PC after OB, then what is the point of the CD? The key provided by it? Will we need to intall the game with the disc even if we havent deleted the client?

Yes, you need a retail auth key to create an account and play World of Warcraft post commercial launch.

You do not need to reinstall the game and it should work fine after you create an account.
