I just wanted to send a shout-out to the great folks over there in MisFits and Exiled and Dogma who made my one-night transition from undead back to the living world a very memorable last night Beta experience.
I don't know how many of you will come here to read this, I'll try to track down your forums when I have more time away from work this weekend. The WoW forums are of course gone, so I feel sad that it's all over so quickly.
To Asiana and Nera, thank you for trusting me so much to allow me to take your lovely (literally beautiful) character selves out on a test-drive date to Onyxia with the Tri-guild raid that fielded her over 6 times or more last night. You were kind and generous and very patient as I learned the ropes of how to be a human mage! (Boats in Menethil are confusing !)
To Aegiana (I know who you are in disguise!!) thanks for not holding longago grudges. Same with Wannacookie, you guys may have hated me once, but you put up with me long enough to nuke Ony!
To Elin, MrO (DevilLilly), Neth, Minimus, Asia and all the others I plagued with newb raid questions, thanks for your patience and humor. I had a wonderful time.
My commendations to Rytearc (sp?) your warrior for excellent commands and communication. She/he was a stable and dedicated focal point to the continued struggle and ever so close achievments... each centimeter movement on her hp bar was a small victory within itself.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself and even roleplayed an undead finding herself suddenly 'reborn' again amongst once enemies and lacking heal keys she once knew so well (I swear I kept spamming my non-existent heals everytime the tanks started dropping!).
Last but not least... thanks for reminding me of early leveling days of much pain and fun growing up on PvP Beta server with so many of you... even YOU Copykitty!!!
In my book, you guys deserve to have won the impossible contest.
One day, Onyxia will fall!
