I am sure a couple of you guys on this forum use the dmgmeter addon.
I have been using it for about 2 weeks now and everybody is going nuts over it , which does not always help in MC =).
But today on our MC raid i cleared the dmgmeter before each boss and looked up the healing done on the Maintank.
So now I am really curious if you guys ever did that as well and maybe even remember some numbers.
I play on EU server so we are not that experienced yet and so I would like to know how big the differences are.
I forgot to look up the healing for Gehennas.
Lucifron: 197000 Healing on MT
Magmadar: 268000 Healing on MT
Garr: 334000 Healing on MT
that is all we did for today

i'd imagine it would be worse to have a larger number in this regard...
Damage meters isnt gonna give you much info from the healing side of things unless you really break it down and have everything sync'd.
Alot of the times I catch my guild priests wasting mana overhealing a tank because they are too lazy to hit 'Escape'. Just because they have more healing done, doesn't mean they are the best healers.
That being said, since I told people I had been monitoring them, it seems as if they are awake now when we clear. I used to blame our slow clears on heavy healing group makeups, but it was just slackers:)

How quick do you clear MC then? We're on our 3rd run now (EU guild), and have cleared the first 8 in 2 times 4 hours. Is that slow?

damn i meant to post something but then got busy and forgot to press the submit button =)
of course the lower the healing the better
thought that was obvious =)
i think that it shows how effective the raid is playing and i wanna know how big the differences are.
@tattersail which server are you guys playing on? It took four hours yesterday to clear the boss up to Garr and we are pretty happy about that since we are still new to MC =). But it is slow considering nurfed ;)

Have more members then just one in that raid used damagemeter and then parsed every information together? Thing is, damagemeter is limited to 30 yards so one person barely ever get the actual amount of damage dealt/healed from all raidmembers

We rarely even broadcast the heals on our raids
We have priests who spam heals (group heals) which puts them on top of the charts...not actual heal data from damage. We sync up ppl for damage tho to measure up and clear the meter each time before a boss.
We are fairly new to MC as well...we split the instance up in this manner
Day 1: Luci/Mag (1h 30m)
Day 2: Garr/Gehen (2h)
Day 3: Shazz/Baron (2h)
Haven't gotten past this pointyet.
But as days are coming by, we are going through it lot faster. We ARE expecting to take on Shazz and Baron the same night as Garr/Gehennas..possibly next week.
We also do Onyxia the same night as Luci/Mag (1h)

well it is not about broadcasting anything =)
i did not broadcast any of those numbers to my guild
just wrote them down cause i was curious =)
and i am still curious if any of you guys have some numbers as well
A full clearing of MC probably takes just under 6 hours (Lucifron -> Ragnaros).
Onyxia takes about 15 minutes from zone in (7-8 mins for the actual Onyxia fight).
