just out of curiosity, for those of you with high end systems, whats the maximum framerate you have been able to achieve in WoW
im asking this because, my friend is an EQ2 player and he claims that on his higher end machine, WoW at maximum graphical settings runs at the same framerate (about 33 FPS) as EQ2 does at middle-of-the-road graphical settings
this seems odd, because as anyone knows, EQ2's graphical system is much more hardware-intensive than WoW's (notice i didn't say it's better...) since it incorporates a higher polygon count and other, more hardware intensive features.
is 33 FPS or so the max framerate in WoW, or is this just an anomoly? or is there a memory leak or something causing the graphics to slow down?
