I just recently respecced to use sword spec with my MS build. I am using a Massacre Sword of the Monkey since its slow, 3.8 spd, and it was an upgrade from my Executioner's Axe. I am loving sword spec, especially when it procs on a charge which allows me to MS immeditely, off of MS itself, or even when it procs off itself. I am convinced now that sword spec itself is just as good as Axe spec, it is just the lack of good slow swords.

One thing I noticed though is that it never seemed to miss and never seemed to be parried/dodged/blocked. Is this normal, or am I just extremely lucky, because it was proccing quite regularly. Anyone else experienced this? Is it supposed to be that way or was I just lucky?

I think I will stick with sword spec for a while and just use any better DPS sword I get for auto attack and the Massacre for instants. The 16 agi on it and being human gives me a 1% bonus to crit with it (.8% from agi, .2% from human racial) and its damage in a single attack is close to dreadforge and doomsaw. (actually better than doomsaw with buffs, but doomsaw has that awesome proc) The 17 stm is nice too. I can always do the Warblade of the Caer Darrow quest for that sword for auto attack weapon and start saving money and mats for Arcanite Reaper in the mean time. I will keep testing though to see if sword spec proc can miss or be dodged/parried/blocked.

I have rarely had my obsidian blade dodged/blocked/parried on either interval of the sword spec proc.

I only recall it being parried once on the second attack, and this was on a PvE mob.

well, you are human, right khan?

that means you have like a 313 2h sword ability. that said it is highly unlikely fo you to miss :) Lucky you.

I have been swordspecced most of the time and i had some misses, parries dodges (that lezt you overpower, where swordspecc procs again :) ) on my troll warrior.

I started my human warrior just recently just for this damn obsidian blade.

so to the OP, i guess you are jsut extremely lucky. Or you just do not notice the misses whereas you will always notice the extra swing when it hits...

Well I have been checking about every combat log to see. I did have one parried yesterday, but still have not seen a miss. I will keep checking it though. It does seem the chances are smaller for a proc to be parried/dodged/blocked, and am still waiting to see a miss.
