Hermorrhage vs Sinister

I tried multiple talent builds like these which are posted here in sticky, i liked the 28/2/21 build,
now i am thinking about 30/0/21
i played some days with hermorrhage and it seems to be better than sinister, so it could b the main combopoint gainer or not?
it does nearly as much dmg than sinister, only cost 35 energy and increases following attacks! i am talking with many lvl 60 rogues from my guild, but nobody tried this, i am actually lvl 38 (second char ;)) and i dont know although the lesser dmg is not enoug in high lvl...

any lvl 60 rogues who tried that?

Well, I can give you an end-game skill comparison:

Rank 8 Sinister Strike (Level 54)
Energy: 45 (40 with talents)
Weapon Damage + 68

Rank 3 Hemorrhage (Level 58)
Energy: 35
Weapon Damage
Increases subsequent damage by 7 for next 30 strikes or 15 seconds

IMO, SS is obviously the better choice for "mashing", for a number of reasons. SS costing 5 energy more than Hemo is extremely negligible, and at the same time it adds 68 to your weapon damage. Hemo (presumably, as the skill doesn't specifically say) only does your base weapon damage. Now, Hemo might be great if it stacked with itself, but it doesn't. So if you were to compare 5 combo SS spam to 5 combo Hemo spam:

SS:
CP1 - Weapon + 68
CP2 - Weapon + 68
CP3 - Weapon + 68
CP4 - Weapon + 68
CP5 - Weapon + 68

Hemo:
CP1 - Weapon
CP2 - Weapon + 7
CP3 - Weapon + 7
CP4 - Weapon + 7
CP5 - Weapon + 7

Sure, you're using a total of 25 less energy with 5 hits of Hemo, but with SS you're doing 312 more damage from the skill's bonus.

ty! u are rightl, but u forgot, that general attacks are even increased, so it's just a bit better than u said, but not much at all... think i will max "setup" with the point :)

Don't think I mean "Don't use Hemorrhage, ever". I don't. It's still a good ability to have, just not to spam :)
